Following John Hopkins’ monster 230kph crash at Assen he was unable to compete at his home event, the next round, at Laguna Seca in California. Yet the chaps at Specialized - who are based a few miles down the road in Morgan Hill – were keen to get ‘Hoppa’ back on the road to recovery as soon as possible.
