CAMPAG KHAMSIN

Campagnolo has introduced a new entry-level wheel into its range, the Khamsin, ready for the 2007 season.

The Khamsin uses Campags G3 geometry with 2mm bladed spokes, with 24 spokes in the front wheel (8x3) and 27 in the rear (9x3).

Designed with a 24mm deep anodised aluminium rim, Campag has machined the braking surface and included a wear indicator on the sidewalls. With sealed bearings, the hubs have also been anodised for a lasting finish. As with the entire Campagnolo range, the freewheel body/pawl carrier is a single body and available in Campagnolo or Shimano HG compatible versions, with the final weight of the Khamsin expected to be around 1,915grams.

Campag will be supplying the Khamsin to both bike manufacturers and to shops. Available from June, the Khamsin will retail for EUR 139 and will come with the choice of anodised black or gold versions.

For more information visit www.campagnolo.com or call them on SCC 01949 829029.
