Prudential RideLondon 2013
As a true tribute to last year's gold medal winners, Prudential has decided to hold a festival in dedication to Team GB's achievements. Consisting of four events over two days, there is an array of activities for you to become involved in. Intend to become a personal trainer? One event worth considering is the FreeCycle; an opportunity which allows cyclists of all ages and abilities to come together and embark on a tour of London, as you journey across an eight mile route. Tour de France
Nothing says cycling like the Tour de France. For biking enthusiasts across the world, this is one event that will definitely be highlighted and underlined in the diary. Especially after Mr Wiggin's victory at the 2012 Tour, everyone's eyes will be glued to the streets of Paris in the hope that history can repeat itself. So whether you choose to go all out and take a trip to France, or would prefer to be a settee spectator, don't miss this year's Tour de France!
Fancy doing your bit for charity? Want something to motivate you as you get into shape for the summer? Then why not get involved in the South East cycling event, Jurassic Classic? A cause dedicated to raising money for Prostate Cancer UK, this is far from your average bike ride. You've the chance to go on one of three rides depending on how far you intend to cycle, ranging from 100 miles to 50 km.
