Your chance to race at Lee Valley Velodrome with the pros

The formation of the Champions League has added an extra level of competition to the Revolution Series and secured the participation of some of the world’s best professional teams. With this additional access to pro riders, Revolution is offering opportunites for businesses to take part in the inaugural Revolution Champions League Pro-Am on Friday 2nd December.

Eight teams will have the opportunity to learn the art of track cycling before moving through to compete with your selected pro rider, for the Revolution Champions League Pro-Am Trophy, to be presented at the start of the evening session.

After the competition you and your team will have the opportunity to rehydrate, shower and freshen up before heading to the track centre for your VIP Hospitality, where you will join your other invited guests and cheer on your pro rider and their team in the evening’s elite racing.

Your chance to race at Lee Valley Velodrome with the pros

The Pro-Am competition format:

During the training session expert coaches will take you through the basics of riding the track before preparing you for the Pro-Am competition and your pro rider will be on hand to give you expert advice. The Pro-Am format will see two elements to the competition to find the team and individual Pro-Am Champions.
1.
ITALIAN TEAM PURSUIT: all members of the team will race in the Italian Pursuit – after each lap the first rider peels off until the final rider is left to sprint for the line. Your pro rider will be the last man so it is the job of you and your team mates to get him to the final lap as quickly as possible to set the fastest time against the clock and beat your opponents. The competition will feature a qualification round against the clock leading to head to head finals to decide the overall standings.
2.
FLYING LAP: each team will choose one rider to post the fastest flying lap for their team. Quite simply, the fastest rider will win.

VIP Experience

The London hospitality will provide a VIP experience in the heart of the action for the grand final of the Champions League. The PowerBar® Pro-Am team and guests will access the venue via the hospitality entrance before being escorted to the hospitality lounge to enjoy complimentary drinks from the VIP bar. As the racing unfolds you will be able to access food from the food stations – the hospitality area will place you in the heart of the action giving you unrivaled access to World and Olympic Champions.
