Hi all I'm cycling with 2 others from Lands End to John O'Groats over 10 days in August. This is by no means a race & we expect to cycle about 100 miles a day. I have a few questions. (1) Are the energy gels actually worth it? (I had one last week on L2B & I have no idea if it made any difference) (2) What's the best cream for cycle shorts to help with rubbing (3) Apart from cycling is there any other specific training I should be doing - it's 6 weeks until we leave (4) Why did I agree to do it?!?!?!
