If you for some reason don't bother to utlise your free education, maybe you go off the rails or simply can't be arsed. Guess what, you can be educated again for free as an adult, to help you get yourself sorted.
Surely this is a fantastic society to live in.
I could not agree more Cid - what I object to is the ill-informed (non-newspaper readers??) automatically assuming that all of those people taking advantage of what we, as a civilised society, choose to put in place to support others are work-shy criminal scroungers. Nothing is ever that straightforward. True, some are but not all.
It is a similar argument to the 'immigrant' scare that all immigrants are only coming here to claim benefits - in my experience the opposite is true - they work their socks off to make a new life and make a significant positive contribution to our racist society under very difficult circumstances.
