I am broke at present, so my partner, and daughters Beryl and Nicole are enjoying a mostly Kentish holiday at the moment. But I was wondering if anyone has gone anywhere recently where they wished they'd had their bike or taken it and been pleasantly surprised or disappointed.

I know rcruise is in Gran Canaria which has wonderful cycling in the mostly empty middle bit, and El Cid is going somewhere in France to fulfill his rubber fantasy, but has anyone been somewhere interesting, perhaps an area we don't normally hear about?
