That sounds a cracking day out, bit worrying when 34-28t is a bit high geared but the rolling start sounds great even just to have every vehicle stop for you, I have cycled the north side of the loch to Drumnadrochit-Milton-Dingwall road(evil hill) so the south side would be nice, I think I may see you next summer on the start line! What bike did you end up getting Pete?
