Waterproof Jackets - Which one??

Another soaking wet ride this morning along with 40 mph winds it felt more like November.
Anyway about 2 years ago I bought a Berghaus Pac Lite Waterproof jacket for about £150, Ive always finished my ride absloutley soaked through when wearing it which I put down to persperation and sweating.
On Saturday i decided to wear it out in the rain for a gentle walk just to see if it leaked. I Got home without sweating at all but the jacket was soaking on the inside along with my clothes. The jacket has obviously leaked from day one!!!
Anyway it's too late to send it back now so i'm looking to buy a new one to get me through the rest of the British Summer and into winter.
Any recomendations?
