I've got an Altura Nevis jacket which I got about 3 years ago from my LBS for about £35 I think.
Does the business in keeping me dry especially in my neck of the woods and it's pretty warm for the winter as well.
Altura stuff is generally pretty reliable in my experience and doesn't cost the earth.
