I really don't know enough about the bikes on offer at that price. I know the Spesh range, cos I have one and the shop is near home, but I don't have a wide enough range of opinion to be of any use to you, I'm afraid.
I think I'd beg, steal or borrow another £395 and get a Trek Madone 4.5. Seems to get great reviews. Stop it now - you're making me want a new bike!
