Most manage the Alps with 2 rings, often 53 - 39.

I wanted to see him take it easy then win the Paris stage. I hate the olympics, it's about politics and the sport is incidental. They gave it to Hitler, they gave it to the Chinese dictatorship

"They gave it to Hitler"
Topical.

They've just confirmed Cav's withdrawal on Radio 5. Suddenly, I've lost all interest in the race....

Awww folks. Seriously, could have had a Spoiler there. I had planned to buy the 4 dvd box set for Christmas, and now I'll know that before we even get to the alps in it, there will be no chance for Cavendish to win at the Champs Elysse

Cav has been great entertainment, but the race goes on and the overall has the potential for great excitement between now and Paris.
We could have an extra "sweepstake" category. 10 bonus points for the next positive dope test? One pick each only.

Kohl Kohl Kohl Kohl. Oh did I mention Kohl.
Seriously though I hope we have no more, although Piepoli has not be confirmed as having been doped(through testing I mean.)

Looks like we will find out on that one.
"The Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) performed unannounced doping tests of riders in the Tour de France, including the new yellow jersey holder, Frank Schleck. CONI made a pre-race agreement with the Tour organisers, Amaury Sport Organisation, to perform the doping controls at the finish of stage 15, which ended inside Italy at the ski resort of Prato Nevoso.
Riders were housed in nearby Cuneo, the start of Tueday's stage, for the Tour's second rest day. As the riders were still in Italy, CONI tested as many as six riders.
The riders' samples will be sent to Rome for testing, and should any test positive for banned substances, the rider could be prosecuted under Italy's doping laws."
