Dave Cameron has his bike nicked

I believe the Conservative Party leader has had his bike stolen, somewhere in London,

Somebody once nicked one of mine and I would have happily hanged them.

As a potential Prime Minister I feel he should be instantly making policy on this, which he should bring to the electorate and I still wpuldn't vote for him. He seems to have laughed off tle loss, essentially.

How would anyone else deal with bike theives/ bike theft problem?

I'd hunt down the thieving little ****s and butcher them and their families and feed them to a pack of hungry dogs.

Re: Dave Cameron has his bike nicked

My lovely mutent bike is kept in vault like security except when I am attached to it but I keep mrs Fs old Mtn bike in a less secure building and use it as a decoy to keep the nasties off my scent.

I like rover1971s idea of justice but mine is more subtle but far worse.. the criminal in question would be tied to a tree, unable to move, semi naked on a calm damp summer night in Glentrool Forest. Then after 8am let them go, thats it! They would never steal again. My punishment are called MIDGES! Just imagine the torture!! WA HA HA HA

I've been watching Sky Sports News today and I reckon big Boris has nicked it.
Good to see Boris and the gorgeous Georgie Thompson promoting cycling in the capital.

Cameron managed to go cycling without his entourage of bodyguards?!!!

Re: Dave Cameron has his bike nicked

I understand he 'locked' his bike to a iron post and the thief simply lifted the bike up and took it.

It is quite conceivable that Dave could be running the country in a couple of years time...it's a frightening prospect.

Brown however could be 'on his bike' sooner than he thinks...

Re: Dave Cameron has his bike nicked

Tory scumbag will simply get mater & pater to buy him a new one.

Seriously - HA HA HA HA!

PS bike thieves deserve locking up for a very long time, even those who steal tory bikes!

Apparently it was "locked" to a 2 foot high "Bollard", according to freebie papers. Seems like neither fiscal nor common sense to me.

Think carefully if you vote. Based on the various personal and political actions of the different party leaders, the biggest parties I could remotely consider would be The Greens, the MRLP or the Lib Dems!

Remember, le-petit, this left wing RPC supporter could be teaching your 7 year old kids. Frightening.

Agree - Cameron could son be in charge - frightening.

Agree - Brown is in charge, sort of - frightening

YIman might soon get a grasp of rudimentary cycle race tactics - frightening.

Its all too much, I need to get out on my bike.

Whereas a lock in the hands of an eejit only encourages the opportunist.

Academics and common-sense are not the same.

In stark contrast an opportunist or thief certainly is one of the same when stealing a bike.

Should we send David Cameron a list of better bikes to look at in future since the one he had was not really that nice...I think he stole it from my granny! I suggest one of those cruiser things like this.Help the image a bit http://mailordercycles.co.uk/products.php?plid=m1b0s132p7261

Tory leader's stolen bicycle surfaces on eBay

Quote:

Hours after Tory leader David Cameron told the world that someone had nicked his bicycle, the much-discussed two-wheeler has turned up on eBay. Or so it seems.

"This bike is not exactly new but it is nearly new because it has only been used for a couple of photo-opportunities," says the anonymous huckster offering Cameron's pride and joy to the highest bidder. "It is BIG and BLUE and despite looking quite well-balanced, it leans oddly to the right."

Mr. Cameron likes riding his bicycle to the House of Commons. In 2005, when he took over as Conservative Leader, the journey was broadcast live as TV news helicopters whirled above. He likes riding his bicycle so much, he's even been known to ride while a chauffeured car drives just behind him carrying his briefcase and papers.

A kind of reverie overtakes the Tory leader as he rides his "old friend." Not even red lights or street signs catch his eye.

So, when his bicycle was stolen from outside a Tesco grocery on Wednesday, he was "annoyed" and "pretty hacked off," according to his spokeswoman. "If anyone has seen this bicycle, I would like it back," he told The BBC. "I've reported it online...but I'm not holding my breath."

But perhaps there's hope. Over at eBay, bidding for Mr. Cameron's bicycle sits at 10.50 pounds - which we're guessing he's willing to spend. To him, his bike is "priceless."

I saw it earlier, should have screen-grabbed it as fleabay have now removed the item.

My hunch is that it was an orchestrated theft, just seemed too coincidental that he was subsequently filmed at the moment the 'crime' was discovered.
