C2C

Does anyone know of a downloadable route for me to put on my Garmin 305?

Re: C2C

There are a number of different ones on the CTC site, but you may have to join to access them. The one we did a couple of summers back was Workington(van hire drop off, should have been Whitehaven), Wasdale, Sedburgh (Kirkby Stephen YHA shut), Kettlewell via Hawes, Pateley Bridge(emergency stop in foul weather, we camped up & waited for the rain to stop), Osmotherley, Robin Hood's Bay, Scarborough.
Beware there are a number of 1 in 3 slogs on this route, notably Hardknott & Wrynose and a couple of unsigned ones on the N York Moors near the end. Fine if you travel light but a pig with camping gear.

Don't think so.

We did it 2 years ago and had to compare the sustrans route to Memory Map on the PC and do a manual polt and download thing.

Bit of a pain, but well worth it as some of the signing leaves a bit to be desired.

Re: C2C

Not of this I'm afraid.

Couldn't ever see us doing it again so it got deleted.

Sorry Bear

Re: C2C

I suspect you'll have to do it the hard way. Get the routes from the CTC, decide which you want, then sort it out to fit the GPS. Personally I find it less hassle to tear a couple of pages out of a m*t*ring atlas and shove them under the plastic trap on top of the barbag.
