Mourne Sportive Open for Entries

Dromara Cycling club of Co.Down Northern Ireland are glad to announce that our every popular Mounre Sportive, the toughest one day leisure cycle in Ireland, is open for entries. This years event will take place on Sunday 10th of August.
Space is limited to the first 200 with a closing date of the 6th of August. This is to allow us time to organise tea stops, catering etc.
This year to improve the event we have a great new venue for the first refreshment stop in Letrim. Dromara CC have refined the route both to include some improved road conditions and to ensure the refreshments are available at suitable intervals. The excellent facilities at Dromara Football Club for the start and finish, Letrim GAA Club who are very kindly offering the use of their facilities for the main refreshment stop and Meelmore lodge for the second refreshment stop ensures that riders will be well catered for throughout the leisure tour. With showers, changing, bar and a BBQ at the finish, a fine day should be had by all

Start: 8:00 am SHARP from Dromara Football Club, Rathfriland Road, Dromara.
Sign on open from 7:15 am.

Showers, BBQ, Bar, Medal and Certificate with "time taken" at the finish.
Insurance Requirements

All members of Cycling Ireland Clubs or members of the CTC have there own insurance. [Proof of Licence Required]

For those without insurance cover a Cycling Ireland day licence can be obtained at a cost of £8.50, [this also gives you personal accident cover]or alternatively Sportive third party only cover is available for only £2.
