Whilst watching the ever-so exciting Olympics Ive discovered a group of cyclists who NEVER crash! The so called back up teams that follow the rowers are simply amazing. Ive not once been able to watch the rowers fulfil their dreams as I have to watch, inexplicably, the riders on the tow path, they do NOT crash, wobble, change direction or even seem to be bothered about what is coming up! They look to their right hand side constantly. I suspect that they are on a `Scaletric` style track that will not allow a very embrassing `background` distracting crash. Am Im being cynical, or are they in fact professionally employed chinese cycle commuters able to multi task bike wise?

I get distracted by these people, too! I'd love to see them crash, and I bet the cameraman would stop and film them rather than following the boats!

Put a 90 degree bend in the water and watch them hit the drink, right off the end of a pier..weeeeee-splooooosh!..now that would be funny!

I keep shouting at the cameraman to ignore the boring bloody rowing and show the peleton racing along the tow path.

I have definitely seen a rowing fan or coach, on a bike, go into the drink somewhere, possibly the Thames. Trawling You tube may reveal one , I cant be bothered. But I agree the chinese lake peleton is one of the best I've seen.
