As the team pursuiters have taken 11 seconds off the world record in eight years, if they maintain that level of improvement how long is before they finish before they set off? Could they be on the way to advancing the theory of relativity or could we be on the verge of finding a new and sustainable energy source which also provides entertainment?
On a second point can any one recall the name of the M.P. ( possibly tory ) who when the funding was announced for cycling some years ago said it was much more than skiing in a derogatory way? Could C.W. find him and ask him his opinion of the funding issue now or in the light of more recent revalations did he think that was the sum available for M.P.s expenceses and prefered to sped his on taking the family off?

It's a percentage reduction over the 4 years so it never takes 0 time to complete an event.

sorry but it is 11sec not 11% that is 1.375sec year someone work it out because i cant be bothered
