I prefer the Tesco/Asda own brand malt loaf, you get about 5 for just over a pound and it's lovely and soft and yummy

Cyclocake
Take a cup/mug/matchbox/bucket - basically any container - of: All Bran Dried fruit and nuts Water 1/2 quantity of sugar [or sugar and treacle, mmmmm....] Mix together with a couple of teaspoons of whatever spices take your fancy [probably not paprika, cumin, coriander etc - nasty] and let it stand for an hour Then add a cup of self-raising flour and a teaspoon of baking powder. Put in a rectangular/square tin lined with greaseproof paper. Bake for about 45 minutes to an hour at Gas mark 4. When it's cool, cut into squares and freeze. Voila! No fat malt loaf! Take as much as you want on a ride, no need to defrost - it will warm up with you. I've added banana, grated apple or orange zest, increased the quantities of fruit and nuts, and gradually decreased the sugar. It's always good.

Patent it, package it, sell it. Us cyclists will buy anything if you say it's specifically designed for us, you could then have a Bunchy in every room!!
