I was heartbroken watching poor Shanaze's catalogue of disasters at the Olympics.
From her unforced error in the bmx time trial right through to her suicide attack on Chausson's back wheel. Calamity Shanaze.
It seems as though she is used to powering away from the front virtually unchallenged. But here she was under pressure and challenged by a woman of equal strength, possibly better bike handling skills and definitely more capable of racing under pressure.
Lets hope she bounces back from this and builds on the experience. She is a plucky girl and full of spunk. Good luck for 2012 Shanaze!

She was such a strong favourite going into the competition, something like this was always going to happen!!
Ah well, roll on 2012 - Lottery might pay for some new 'stickier' tyres for her!

BMX.
I just can't take it seriously, it's like having conkers in the Olympics.
Which they probably will one day.

I want to put a higher gear on the bmx bikes whenever I see them. How about keep them the same but make them cycle 50 miles!

Bigger wheels my make it less easy to drop them on the bends too.

Well I did have them in mind when I posted. Experience on Motor Scooters and Motorcycles made me very aware of the lack of stability with smaller wheels.

What are these 'motor' cycles of which you speak? I don't understand...a cycle with a motor? But why?

But, if the original owner of said substance was doping, would it be deemed a 'banned substance', then?
