Award Times
      #32055 - 27/08/2008 09:13

If an event advertises, for example, a Gold standard of 6 hours, a Silver of 6:30 and a Bronze at 7 hours, I assume that means you need to finish UNDER 6 hours to claim a Gold? ie. the time stated is the time to beat, and not the start of a "spread" in which you need to finish for that award?

It would be pointless to mention 6 hours at all unless it was the time to beat... it would be like your broadband connection: "upto" 6:30.

I'm confusing myself, perhaps unnecessarily, but sometimes when you think about things too much the common sense blurs and simple things become complicated. In such cases it's time to get someone else to tell you what you thought was right. Or tell you that you're completely wrong.
