my cateye double something has finally died and i was wondering if anybody had any recomendationds. I have around £70 to spend and I dont want cadence but i wouldnt mind a hrm.

I got my computer from Dell, it was nearer £700 though!

You could look at a Polar CS200. You can add a cadence sensor later if you change your mind.

i was going to buy one of them last year, only for it to vanish mysteriously from the website. it then re-appeared 2 weeks later, AFTER i'd bought my cateye.  (micro wireless. its great, shows everything you need but doesn't have HRM)

go to lidl or it maybe aldi, i got a wireless hrm computor for £13, and its grrrrrrrrreat! especially for those breakfast runs

I looked at those. Are they really good? My wife could do with one for running.

The lidl ones work very well, 3 year warrenty as well.

Lidl ones work just as well as the more expensive ones... plus you will have £50+ left over to treat yourself to something else
