O.K. Cav has had two great seasons in the pro ranks.
How many wins will he get next year? Can he top 2008 or has he peaked and will the others be looking for him?
I predict a good year and 18 wins.

There is a place for arrogance. I think Cav is great.

Not unlike a certain return from retired cyclist.

if you have it - flaunt it.

As Robert Millar said in the comic this week, you don't win life threatening bunch sprints by being Mr Nice Guy.

I'll go for 21 wins plus the TDF points jersey.

Zabel is a lovely man, I won't have him lumped in with Cav and McEwan.

Good call wuverley, Zabel comes over as a realy decent guy.
I still miss big Chipo. He was arogant and big headed but he did win over 200 pro races and you dont do that without class.
Also I have the feeling that a lot of what he said and did, ref the OTT skinsuits etc, was done with toung firmly in cheek. Or in someones cheek anyway.

Cav - I predict 16 wins, TDF points, night-club brawl and C-sleb sex scandal.

Cav will win at least 12 races, and will win many more when he learns to ride uphill....sadly he will never be a Jalabert

It's funny. OK Cavendish has done very well this year, as did the Olympic Squad. Why is it that people look ahead and want them/say/demand that they do even better.
Ok sure it's natural thing to want to do better, but how can you keeping topping top class performances.
Does this type of thing enourage, drug taking.
Just thought.

Don't know if he has the consistancy for a points jersey but he will win between 14-18 times. I think next year should be a year of consolodation aiming to win what he can. 6 stages in Grand Tours is a great start but now he has to do it again.

He should easily be another Jalabert.
Just 1 cm shorter and only 1 kilo heavier he should be able to develop all round skills.
