Jo Rowsell, hair
      #36754 - 05/10/2008 21:46

I know this is irrelevant to her sporting ability and success, but her hairlessness is never mentioned or explained. Which is fine, but I am interested.

Does anyone know why she has very little hair?
Just wondered. No time wasters please.

I heard it's alopecia, the same as Gail Porter the tv presenter has.

I've often wondered that too!

I'm pretty sure it's alopecia

Yes, it's alopecea. I've read it somewhere, but not sure where.

Would be interesting to know how she feels about it when she's in the public eye (i.e. at world champs). Takes a confident person to stand in front of BBC cameras and not worry about it.

I'm constantly worrying about my balding head.
