Just had an awfull thought.

If these things make you sweat so much, I imagined wearing one for a turbo session, and the missus coming home and finding nothing but a huge pool of sweat on the floor and shoes still cleated into the pedals. Bloody hell......

Sweat suits are pointless unless you need to drop weight quick for an event and the only people who really need to do that are boxers. All these (sweat suits) do is drain you of water (obviously) and then you are losing salts etc. that are vital in order to be healthy. If you don’t replace what you have sweated out (which boxers do immediately after weighing in) your body will take the fluids and nutrients it needs from somewhere else and that is your muscle; So in effect your body is cannibalising itself.

Stay away if you ask me.

For a good explanation of just how much bad science there is in these, see http://www.serpentine.org.uk/pages/beginners_weight.html.

A great deal of really good info on that site.

I take DHMO with Isostar. Three scoops of Isostar with 600ml of DHMO. Works a treat.

Also works well mixed with a capful of Flash to clean the bike. Also good to bath in if warmed up.
