Andy Tennant out of final Track World Cup with illness
Andy Tennant will not travel to Mexico to contest the final round of the UCI Track World Cup due to illness, British Cycling announced on Monday.
Tennant had been part of a five-man endurance line-up, but has been forced to withdraw from the Guadalajara round (January 17-19). Tennant's absence leaves Jon Dibben, Chris Latham, Jacob Ragan and Oliver Wood, who will ride in the team pursuit without the experience of Tennant.
Latham, Ragan and Wood all make their World Cup debut in Mexico, as does double junior world champion Danielle Khan who will join Victoria Williamson in the sprint disciplines.

Nigel Wynn worked as associate editor on CyclingWeekly.com, he worked almost single-handedly on the Cycling Weekly website in its early days. His passion for cycling, his writing and his creativity, as well as his hard work and dedication, were the original driving force behind the website’s success. Without him, CyclingWeekly.com would certainly not exist on the size and scale that it enjoys today. Nigel sadly passed away, following a brave battle with a cancer-related illness, in 2018. He was a highly valued colleague, and more importantly, an exceptional person to work with - his presence is sorely missed.
