Knog Muddy Hell cyclo-cross returns

Nick Craig, Knog Muddy Hell

The annual Knog Muddy Hell cyclo-cross returns for a fourth season on Saturday October 27 at the Herne Hill Velodrome in London.

The Halloween-themed event takes place at night, giving both the riders and spectators an extra factor to contend with. Many riders turn out in spooky fancy dress to lend to the party atmosphere - and it's completely free to watch.

This year's prize fund has been upped, and a start list of some big cyclo-cross names has been promised by event organiser Rollapaluza.

There are races for Youth, Juniors, Veterans, Women, Seniors and Novices, with a total prize pot of £1500 up for grabs.

Along with the top 'cross action, spectators can expect to be treated to music, a bar tent, trade stands, roller racing, hot food and much more.

Full details can be found at the Knog Muddy Hell website.

Nigel Wynn
Former Associate Editor

Nigel Wynn worked as associate editor on CyclingWeekly.com, he worked almost single-handedly on the Cycling Weekly website in its early days. His passion for cycling, his writing and his creativity, as well as his hard work and dedication, were the original driving force behind the website’s success. Without him, CyclingWeekly.com would certainly not exist on the size and scale that it enjoys today. Nigel sadly passed away, following a brave battle with a cancer-related illness, in 2018. He was a highly valued colleague, and more importantly, an exceptional person to work with - his presence is sorely missed.
