Adam Blythe will race again at WorldTour level next season, as Cycling Weekly understands he has signed a two-year deal at Orica-GreenEdge.

Blythe, who is based in Monaco and is currently competing in the Friends Life Tour of Britain, rode for top division teams between 2010 and 2013.

He joined the third-tier British squad NFTO for this season after leaving BMC, and took a high-profile victory in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic on August 10.

It was his first UCI-ranked victory since October 2012, although he has enjoyed success in domestic events throughout this year. In July, he won the British Circuit Race Championships.

A spokesperson for NFTO declined to comment.

Speculation had recently linked the 24-year-old to MTN-Qhubeka. However, he will become the third British rider at Orica – twin brothers Adam and Simon Yates joined the Australian outfit for 2014.
