Hour Record hopeful Alex Dowsett has wasted no time in getting back into training for his attempt at the iconic track cycling mark after undergoing surgery to repair a fractured collarbone.
The 26-year-old sustained the badly-timed injury as a result of a training accident near his home in Essex last Tuesday, and underwent surgery on Thursday.
