American rider takes hill repeats to a new level by breaking climbing world record

Hill climbs: some of us love them, some of us hate them, but Oakland native Craig Cannon went above and beyond on his recent ride, breaking an unofficial world record for the most ascending metres.

Cannon recorded his 339 mile ride on Strava where he clocked up an eyewatering 29,146m of climbing over the course of his 42 hours on the bike.
