Andy Tennant will not travel to Mexico to contest the final round of the UCI Track World Cup due to illness, British Cycling announced on Monday.

Tennant had been part of a five-man endurance line-up, but has been forced to withdraw from the Guadalajara round (January 17-19). Tennant’s absence leaves Jon Dibben, Chris Latham, Jacob Ragan and Oliver Wood, who will ride in the team pursuit without the experience of Tennant.

Latham, Ragan and Wood all make their World Cup debut in Mexico, as does double junior world champion Danielle Khan who will join Victoria Williamson in the sprint disciplines.
