Registration has opened for the 2011 Breast Cancer Care Bike Blenheim Palace cycling festival, which will take place in and around the grounds of the Oxfordshire stately home on August 21, 2011.

Interested riders can register for the cyclo-sportive rides, Pink Ribbon Ride, time trial and family ride.

Entry to either of the 60- or 100-mile cyclo-sportives will cost £32 before June 30 and £35 thereafter. The rides takes you out in to the picturesque surroundings of the Cotswolds and includes generous feed stations, electronic timing and full support.

The Pink Ribbon Ride is a 26-mile cycle in aid of Breast Cancer Care, entry costs £30. The time trial is open to all comers, and costs £19 for competing on the 20km route around the Palace grounds.

Returning again to Blenheim, the sixth Brompton World Championship takes place in the grounds of the Palace – tickets will not be available until May 1 but you can register as a fund-raising rider for Breast Cancer Care in advance.

Day passes for spectators and those wishing to take part in the family ride cost £9 for adults, £4 for children (under-fives go free) with concessions priced at £6.50.

All tickets include entry to the relevant event and to Blenheim Palace park and gardens.

The organisers have shifted the date of the event from October to August this year to try and improve the weather conditions for participants and spectators alike.
