Britain’s Adam Blythe has fallen out of the lead of the Circuit Franco-Belge, following Friday’s second stage to Poperinge.

Jacopo Guarnieri spearheaded a Liquigas 1-2-3 to finish ahead of teammates Elia Viviani and Francesco Chicchi in the bunch sprint finale.

Blythe finished 29th, two seconds behind, and now sits second overall behind Guarnieri.
