Chris Boardman has returned to the velodrome to launch the new Boardman Performance Series TK Pro track bike.
The TK Pro track bike from the Performance Series was launched at Newport Velodrome last week, Chris Boardman returned to his roots to expand his bike range further.
Boardman hasn’t just plastered his name across a track frame in aid to sell well, he is said to have put to use his track pedigree from Olympic gold and hour-world records to finalise an all round race ready track bike. For whatever discipline you want to ride.
The £799.99 complete bike is only available via Halfords in the UK and whilst being a competitive price, Boardman suggests the frame only weighs 7.56kg [excluding pedals], which is to include brakes [to meet CE regulations], a Truvativ Omnium chainset complete along with Mavic CXP-22S wheelset.
The fixed wheel bike, with the use of the supplied brakes, would according to Boardman, make a fast commuting bike too.
A number of frame sizes are available with further details online at Halfords.
