Bradley Wiggins to miss Challenge Mallorca

Bradley Wiggins will not start his season at the Challenge Mallorca this week as intially thought, as Team Sky announces its full line-up for the set of one day races.

Wiggins, who was listed on the Challenge Mallorca website as part of the Sky squad, now looks to be starting his season at the Tour of Qatar on February 8.

This is the 34-year-old's final stint with Team Sky, as he looks to claim victory at Paris-Roubaix before focusing on the Hour Record and a return to the track at the Rio Olympics in 2016.

Three of Sky's new signings will ride at Mallorca however, with Andy Fenn, Elia Viviani and Leopold König all set to ride at least two of the one day races from the four day event.

Britain's Ben Swift will also begin his season on the Spanish island, as he targets early season success at Milan-San Remo with the 2015 Road World Championships his other key target for the season.
