Cavendish out to topple Garmin in Giro TTT

Mark Cavendish is expected to dominate the sprints at the Giro d?Italia but he?s also got his eye on the opening team time trial and would love to see his Columbia team topple big favourites Garmin led by British rivals Bradley Wiggins and David Millar.

?The Giro lasts 21 days and I think it?s disrespectful if your race starts on the first day and ends on the first day. That?s what Garmin are fundamentally doing,? Cavendish said.
