Discovery Channel?s Steve Cummings is down to start all three of the cobbled Classics this spring. Cummings has raced in Ghent-Wevelgem once before, but this will be his debut in both Roubaix and Flanders.

?I?m over the moon, it?s great to be doing these races for the first time.? Cummings told CW?s website. ?Flanders and Roubaix are the biggest one-day Classics there are.?

Cummings has been selected after solid rides for his team throughout the spring. ?The team are pleased with how I?ve been riding up to now, and if they?re happy, I?m happy.?

?I was a bit disappointed with how I rode the time trial in De Panne, I was a bit nervous because I?d crashed a couple of times the week before and I could have gone faster. Other than that, by and large things have gone well.?

Cummings says his mission in Flanders will be ?to look after our two leaders, Vladimir Gusev and Stijn Devolder for as long as possible – keep them out of the wind for as long as possible, bring them food, bidons and so on.?
