This year?s Cycle Show kicks off on Friday October 6 at ExCeL London and Cycling Weekly will be there.

In past years the show has been a great meeting place for fans of the cycling world, as well as a place for folk to brush shoulders with celebrities.

This year, Eddy Merckx (there on Saturday), Bradley Wiggins and Roger Hammond will be making an appearance and there will be plenty of opportunities to get some top bikes dirty with cavorting on a track.

The show offers various activities including regulars like the Duathlon, the commuter test track, and an Onza International trials competition, as well as having more than 120 exhibitors? stands to check out. All bases are covered, with campaign groups offering safety tips, as well as experts from Transport for London being on hand to answer any queries.

The event organisers have also provided some new activities for Cycle Show veterans in need of something different.

Show director Mick Bennett said: ?Each year we aim to make the show a different and more enjoyable experience for visitors. We listen to feedback and this year we have added a bigger trials area following suggestions we got last year.?

If you fancy getting behind the scenes in a television environment, the Cycling.tv studio will feature daily interviews from cycling legends, celebrities of the cycling world and other special guests. For those feeling a bit more energetic and fancy testing their skills against the clock, the Tacx racing challenge offers riders the chance to do classic Tour de France stages and other courses.

CW will be handing out I Support Drug Free Sport wristbands and offering you the chance to win a bike and some signed pro kit.

ExCeL London is situated on Royal Victoria Dock, London, E16 1XL. Three Docklands Light Railway stations adjoin the venue. Adult tickets cost £10 (advance), or £12 on the door; £1 for under-16s.
