It can be the most testing few months of the year, so it's time to find out which type of winter cyclist you really are

Following on from our very unscientific polls to find out what type of cyclist you are and which kind of bike you should own, we’re now trying to see which winter camp you fall into.

The colder end of the year can be a great time to be out on the bike; crisp mornings under a bright sun are ideal for long miles through the lanes, particularly if you’re dressed for the season.

However, winter isn’t all low sun and coffee rides. When the weather sets in things can turn grim, especially when the roads are covered in debris and you get a puncture a long way from home. Some rides leave you wishing you’d stayed in bed.

    Mine was spot on. Sensible cyclist. Although my bike is my commuting vehicle. If I don’t get out in the wind and rain, I don’t get to work. Best be prepared!
