Runner-up Paul O?Mahoney (Ghyllside Cycles), currently second overall behind Gethin Butler, held off a late challenge from Richard Prebble (Pinarello RT), his 1-02-03 beating Prebble by just 22 seconds.

World Cup pursuit champion Wendy Houvenaghel (Science in Sport.com) had a 40-second winning margin in the women?s 13.4-mile event, clocking 32-14 to beat Julia Shaw?s (GS Strada) 32-54, while her team-mate Helen Carter finished in fourth to maintain her overall lead in the women?s series.
