The Fund which was started by the cycling community after the tragic death of Dave Rayner, who, like many riders today, took the tough route of racing and living abroad.
Since the start of the Fund over £600,000 in grants have seen the likes of David Millar, Adam Yates and the Downing brothers able to fulfil their professional dream. Today just over 20 riders are supported by the Dave Rayner Fund, seeing the likes of Dan Mclay, Owain Doull and Tao Geoghegan-Hart, all of which competed in the Tour de L’avenir recently.
