Cyclists wanting to visit the Tour this Sunday will be given free transport from Essex to Kent. The Highways Agency Dartford Crossing team is providing a 50 seater coach, with trailer, running across the Dartford crossing every 30 ? 40 minutes from 07.00hrs until 11.00hrs.

The pick up point for the coach is the Essex point marshalling area, reached via the cycle path from junction 31 of the M25. Drop off is the Kent point marshalling area from where Kent?s cycle paths are accessible.

The return service starts at 13.00hrs, running until 19.00hrs. The service is only open to cyclists, not pedestrians.

Those wishing to visit the Tour by car are being advised to check traffic conditions for the motorways and A roads on www.highways.gov.uk before they leave.
