Scoring his third victory of the series, Kristian House (Recycling.co.uk) capped overall victory in the Premier Calendar with an emphatic win in the final round, the Tour of Pendle, in Lancashire on Sunday, August 13, 2006.

Already assured of the title following the cancellation of the Tour of the Peak, House nevertheless put on a sparkling display of riding, battling back after missing the crucial break and holding off his rivals in style to win by three seconds from team-mate Chris Newton, with Mark Lovatt (Planet X) third, despite riding with a broken spoke for the final 10 miles.

Although he was dropped from the winning break in the closing miles, Robin Sharman (Recycling.co.uk) finished seventh on Sunday and maintained his runner-up spot overall.
