The BIKE channel will show live coverage of Ghent-Wevelgem on Easter Sunday from 1pm

The Belgian Classics are hotting up and on Easter Sunday the sprinters get a chance for some silverware in the challenging Ghent-Wevelgem.

Weather in Flanders is likely to be significantly better than last year, which saw gale-force winds and rain, sending riders flying off the side of the roads.

But the sectors of pavé and the cobbled climb of the devilishly difficult Kemmelberg mean the bunch is often reduced for the final 30km dash to the finish line in Wevelgem.

Last year’s surprise winner Luca Paolini will not be in attendance after getting busted for cocaine at the Tour de France, but there will be a stellar field competing for the title.
