On Monday October 3, Min Joo Lee became the 13th cyclist this year to be killed on London’s roads.

The 24 year old student died after being in collision with a truck near King’s Cross station.

Local worker James Thomas never personally knew ‘Deep Lee’. Nonetheless, profoundly saddened by her death, he decided to install a white ghost bike at the junction where the accident happened.

In the following short (and lo-res) film, Thomas explains what the ghost bike represents and how he and others were moved to get involved.

    Good on him.
