Bob Stapleton, the man in charge of ProTour licence holder High Road Sports faces a huge challenge to get his team ready for 2008 after his sponsor T-Mobile announced it would be pulling it’s sponsorship with immediate effect.

He can however rely on the support of Giant bikes, who are believed to be sticking with the team that has lead the anti-doping fight that gathered pace this year.

No official announcement has come from the Taiwanese company, although Cyclingweekly.co.uk has seen an internal Giant memo, saying that they would stick with the team that will be called Team High Road next year.

Adidas had already announced it would no longer be providing clothing for the team leaving Audi as the only other major sponsor still to make clear its intentions.
