British pair Helen Wyman and Nikki Harris placed first and second in the 2013 European Cyclo-Cross Championships in Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic, on Sunday.

Wyman successfully defended her title from last year, coming home one minute and 11 seconds ahead of British cyclo-cross national champion Harris. Frenchwoman Lucie Chainel-Lefevre rounded out the podium in third at one minute and 24 seconds. Gabriella Durrin gave Britain its third place in the top ten, coming seventh.

Michael Vanthourenhout (Netherlands) took the under-23 men’s title, Belgian Yannick Peeters claimed the junior men’s title and Anne Kalvenhaar (Netherlands) won the youth women’s category.

Wyman’s European title is her third consecutive victory in a week, after winning the Superprestige Ruddervoorde last weekend and Koppenbergcross on Friday.
