Team FBUK rider Helen Wyman finished fourth at the latest round of the cyclo cross World Cup in Pijnaker, Holland. The British cyclo cross national champion started on the front line thanks to her third place in the second round, but, like the rest of the field, couldn’t hold on to a flying Hanka Kupfernagel of Germany.

Wyman formed a chasing group behind the German with Birgit Hollman and Daphny Van Den Brand, although the trio made no impression on the leader over the wet, muddy course. Double World Champion Marianne Vos finished ninth after an early mistake.

Wyman’s team mate Gabby Day finished in 24th.
