MARK Holton (Pro Bike Kit) warmed up for the first round of the Rudy Project Series in two weeks time with a convincing win in the 28-mile Circuit of Pendle time trial at Whalley, Lancashire, on Sunday.

The 29-year-old Preston-based rider is targeting the National Series as well as the National Championships up to 50 miles this season, and looks set to mount a serious challenge if his form on Pendle is a marker.
