Ian Stannard's Pinarello Dogma, ridden in the 2015 Tour de France, will be auctioned off for blood cancer charity Bloodwise this Thursday

Ever wanted to get your hands on a piece of Team Sky Tour de France memorabilia? Well, the Pinarello Dogma ridden by Ian Stannard in support of Chris Froome‘s second Tour victory is up for auction and could be yours.

The bike was originally donated to three-time leukaemia survivor Joe Smale by Sir Dave Brailsford for his Bloodwise London to Paris rides in 2015 and 2016, but now Joe has donated the bike to the auction to raise money for the blood cancer charity.

As you would expect with a Tour de France standard bike, Stannard’s machine comes with a pretty high spec. The 56-inch frame is decked out with a full Dura-Ace groupset, Dura-Ace wheels, a Stages power meter and full Team Sky livery.

The auction takes place on Thursday October 13, but you can email in your bids ahead of that date. The bike does have a £5,000 reserve price, so it doesn’t come cheap, but this is a great chance to own a piece of history and help out a great charity.

Email bids should be made by contacting pinarelloauction@bloodwise.org.uk, with bids closing at 5.30pm on October 13.
