Isle of Man to host new cycling festival from 2016

Cyclefest will be a three-day cycling festival and will feature stage one of the Pearl Izumi Tour - the first time professional cycling has been to the island in 13 years

The Isle of Man is to host a three-day cycling festival from next year to celebrate the island’s “unique culture, environment and terrain.”

The small Irish sea island has punched well above its weight in recent years by producing several world class cyclists, including Mark Cavendish and current British champion Peter Kennaugh.
